Packing Your Item For Return:

When getting your item ready for return, please make sure that the item meets the following guidelines:

  •  The item is in its original box and original packaging.
  •  The product is securely packaged to avoid damage.
  •  The product is sent with all of its parts and manuals.

 If you receive an item that is not satisfactory, you can exchange it for an item of equal value at no additional charge, or exchange for an item of greater value for a difference in value. You must have your receipt (with no exception) as it contains information necessary to process the return.

    Special Order items are Non-Refundable

    Order cancellations are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee

    Authorized Equipment Service reserves the right to limit, refuse, or accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason.

Items Damaged or Lost in Transit

All damaged and shortage claims should be made with the freight company at the time of delivery. A copy of the packing slip or customer receipt must accompany all returns with an authorization number from our returns department.

Damaged/Non-Working Items

If you receive an item and it is damaged, not working

or missing parts you may:

  • Bring the item to Authorized Equipment Service This option will usually be the quickest way to solve your issues. We can usually provide parts and/or service on the spot and get your tool working in no time.
  • Return the item to us. Within 30 days of the purchase date, we will gladly process an exchange of damaged/nonworking merchandise. To return an item, email your order number, name, shipping address, and reason for return to Daniel@partsfortools.com We will provide you with return instructions by email.
  • Returns must be post-marked within 30-Days from the date received and in resell-able condition to avoid a 20% restocking fee. You will be responsible for all return shipping costs on non-working items, unless damaged in shipment.

Truck Line Return Policy

Due to the expense of shipping heavy/large items are governed by a separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all heavy item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading as truck line handling charges cannot be refunded. If items arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt (bill of lading) and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges. Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.

Please note that you will be responsible for the actual freight costs in the following instances:

    You miss your delivery appointment

    You refuse or return a non-damaged, non-defective item

Freight fees on large items often range between $100.00 and $400.00

The Warranty Department

After 30 days, purchases made from Authorized Equipment Service are no longer covered by our Return Policy. After this time, products are covered by their respective Manufacturer’s Warranty.
